Introduction

Vantage offers robust monitoring and management for AV equipment in meeting rooms, with the capability to integrate with various manufacturers' platforms. This guide will assist you in integrating Vantage with Crestron's XiO Cloud using Crestron's public APIs.

Pre-requisites

Before you begin the integration process, ensure:

  1. You have an active Vantage account with licenses for the rooms you wish to monitor.
  2. Your Crestron devices are networked, operational, and enabled on Crestron XiO Cloud.
  3. You have administrative access to both your Vantage account and Crestron XiO Cloud account.

Steps to Integrate Vantage with Crestron XiO Cloud

Step 1: Enable Public API Access in XiO Cloud

  1. Contact Crestron Technical Support to enable public API access for your XiO Cloud account.
  2. Once public API access is enabled, you will receive a subscription key and an account ID.

Step 2: Enable Crestron XiO Cloud Integration in Vantage

  1. Log in to your Vantage account.
  2. Navigate to 'Integrations'.
  3. Find 'Crestron XiO Cloud' and click on 'Add Integration'.
  4. Enter the subscription key and account ID you received from Crestron Technical Support.
